Meet your Tour Guide for the trek, Kelly Harris!
Kelly has been taking groups to Uganda and Rwanda since 2015 and has close personal relationships with all of the locals you will encounter on the tour. She has an abundance of knowledge that she will share with you on the tour about the local culture, geography, history and animals you encounter. You could not ask for a better guide than Kelly! She has led all of our volunteer projects in Uganda including Days for Girls and with our Water for Mountain Villages which have led to close ties with the community. You will be the beneficiary of the fruits of her vast experience there while you join her!

The Gorilla Tracking can be adapted to accommodate any fitness level, but the fitter you are the more fun it will be.

Changes or Cancellations
It is important for you to understand our cancellation policy. We keep our prices as competitive but they are based on group tours and we have a minimum number of clients required to run a trip, based on the agreements that we have with our international operators. These policies reflect what we are charged and attempt to ensure that if someone does cancel, we can still run the trip for the other clients at the increased cost for the smaller group.
Please keep in mind these deadlines for cancellation fees;
60 days before trip departure; 50% Cancellation Fee
Changes or cancellations made after this point are subject to a fee of 50% of the total cost of the trip.
30 days prior to departure: 75% Cancellation Fee
Cancellations made within are subject to a fee of 75% of the total cost of the trip.
Less than 15 days before departure- 100%
Cancellations within 15 days prior to departure are subject to cancellation fees of 100% of the trip cost.
No-Shows
No-shows will be charged 100% of the total cost of the trip.
Cancellation fee refunds
Refunds will be issued within 60 days of the cancellation date.
Exceptions
There are a few exceptions to our cancellation policy:
If the trip is canceled due to a natural disaster or other unforeseen circumstances, we will issue a credit note for the full price of the trip to be used for another trip within the next 1 year.
Travel Insurance
Insurance for the trip is mandatory and should be purchased at the time of booking to ensure against any financial losses due to medical or unforseen circumstances.
