Along the eastern coastline, thousands of endangered green turtles return every year to lay their eggs on the same beaches where they were born — making Oman one of the most important nesting sites in the Indian Ocean.

On this journey, you combine adventure and nature in a 4 days journey through Oman.

Hike through the turquoise pools and hidden canyon of Wadi Shab, the village falaj system of Wadi Taab, snorkeling along Oman’s coastline, and then step into a completely different world at night — where, under the stars, giant turtles come ashore to lay their eggs. If timing is right, you may even witness hatchlings emerging and making their first journey to the sea — one of the most remarkable natural events you can experience.

Holiday Muscat (3 stars) Big rooms, clean, and a great buffet breakfast that they will set up at 5;30 am just for us.

Ras al Jinz: Turtle Beach Reserve.

There is no other place to stay other than here. This is where we get the guided tour, and where we know our money goes directly to supporting the cause of the turtles. Local Oman guides will take us to see the turtles. Rooms are huge and clean.

Wadi Shabb Beach Villa: A Private Villa with a pool for our group

We want early access to Wadi Tabb for our final day so that we can start our journey at sunrise and avoid the heat of the day, and make an early start back to Dubai on Day 4. We will return to our villa just before we head back to Dubai to shower and have lunch.

  3-Day Turtle, Wadi Shab & Coastal Adventure — Oman

  🗺️ DAY 1 — FRIDAY

  Dubai → Muscat | Coastal Arrival

  • 6:00 AM — Pickup from Dubai / Abu Dhabi

  • Scenic drive along the Omani coastline

  • Border crossing (~30 minutes)

  • ~2:00 PM — Arrival in Muscat

  • Check-in and relax

  • Afternoon:

    • Pool time and recovery

  • Evening:

    • Dinner and early night

  🌿 DAY 2 — SATURDAY

  Wadi Shab + Ras Al Jinz Turtle Experience

  • 6:00 AM — Early departure to Wadi Shab

  • Morning Adventure:

    • Short hike into the canyon

    • Explore hidden caves and waterfalls

  • Lunch after the hike

  • Afternoon drive along the coast toward Sur

  🐢 Evening — Ras Al Jinz Turtle Reserve

  • Check-in to turtle reserve / eco lodge

  • 9:00 PM — Turtle Watching Experience

    • Guided night walk to the beach

    • Witness green turtles laying eggs
