11 days IN and Out. This time of the season is ideal for those who do not want to brave the huge masses of crowds in the spring season. By far the best weeks to hike to base camp in the spring. The abundant crowds have GONE but the weather is still pretty much as close to perfect as you can get. Combined with the excitement of joining much of the groups hiking up to base camp to run the Everest Marathon on May 29th every year.

The glory of the Himalayas are always behind you!

Budget or Premium Options:

The competition in Nepal amongst tours for EBC is fierce. You can get tours for very low prices, but keep in mind you do get what you pay for and there ARE differences! We are offering a budget trek with what we feel are still the best options for tea houses, acclimatization and the helicopter exit - which is real value for money when you consider in less leave days from work. So you can rough it or take the princess route, you choose.

What’s the key difference between Budget and Premier Options?

  • Budget:

  • 3 star hotel in Kathmandu 1 night upon arrival includes breakfast

  • Require a heavy duty sleeping bag every night

  • 1 shared toilet and shower for several rooms.

  • Food choices are similar in most tea houses though quality may vary.

  • Hot water is readily available and a warm place to gather in the evenings in the dining area is always available. Wifi will be available for an additional charge.

  • 1 Porter for 2 people: You are only allowed 11 Kg on the plane, so 1 porter takes the duffle bags for 2 people.

  • 1 guide for up to 5 people

Premier: 9900 DH

  • 1 night Dusit Princess 5 star hotel single basis in Kathmandu upon arrival includes breakfast

  • Electric Blankets and bedding are included- do not require a sleeping bag just a fleece sleeping sack (included)

  • En suite toilet - except for Labouche.

  • Better quality food with more choices in the restaurants in the tea houses

  • Hot water is readily available and a warm place to gather in the evenings in the dining area is always available. Wifi will be available for an additional charge.

  • 1 Porter for 2 people: You are only allowed 11 Kg on the plane, so 1 porter takes the duffle bags for 2 people.

  • 1 guide for up to 5 people

Both Options Advantages:

  • Helicopter from either EBC or Labouche depending on weather conditions so the number of days will be the same, saving 4 days walking down.

  • Guide: Our main guide has been with us for 18 years he will stay with the group walking with you every step of way ensuring your health and safety. Most importantly, he is there in case of emergencies.

  • Trek leader: Amy: No matter which tea houses you are in, you will have the support before you travel and on the route from your trek leader, Amy who has done the trip several times and will be with you the whole way.

You will be guided at every step with your pace and breaks to ensure you keep the effects of the altitude at a minimum to make the climb enjoyable and rewarding as it should be. Acclimatization days are essential and included as part of the package, as well as the helicopter exit to make the trip doable within the 11 days time frame.

With a limit of only 5 trekkers, expect personalized attention and support throughout this unforgettable adventure.
