A UAE Trekkers–Led High-Altitude Expedition.

Why Mt Kenya is the Perfect First High-Altitude Expedition
This is not just a mountain climb. This is your first true high-altitude expedition.
Led personally by UAE Trekkers, this 5-day journey to Point Lenana (4,895m) offers dramatic alpine landscapes, glacier views, and a summit sunrise that rivals Kilimanjaro — without the crowds.
Mount Kenya is often described as a “training mountain” for Kilimanjaro.
We see it differently. It is a powerful standalone summit that builds confidence, resilience, and altitude experience in a structured and supportive environment.
Why This Expedition Is Different: Group Size: Maximum of 6 Participants. Small Groups are Best for Mountain Experiences.
• Personally led by UAE Trekkers
• Structured altitude progression
• Single-occupancy tents for recovery
• Private portable toilets - for hygiene, comfort and sanity
• Experienced high-altitude Kenyan guides
• Thoughtful pacing and acclimatization strategy
• No crazy 2 am wake up for ‘catching the sunrise at the summit’. We wake up at 4 am and watch sunrise wherever we are on the mountain. We reach the summit when we reach.
This is not a budget climb. This is a curated expedition. After doing 15 years of expeditions with first time hikers, we know what people need to be comfortable and focus on their bodies. They need to be warm, they need a good nights sleep. We include the most essential elements that provide these comforts as essential, not optional.
A in a comfortable single tent with a private toilet, expert guides and amazing food for 5 days. Spend the first night in Nairobi, the second day we start the trek!
Who This Is For
Adventure seekers who are:
aspiring for bigger mountains, like Kilimanjaro, at some point in the future.
looking for a more private and personalized experience with a smaller and more intimate group
looking for leadership and a familiar presence from Dubai in addition to the local guides.
How hard is Mt Kenya?
Mt Kenya requires good fitness! Its a great test for anyone who wants to climb Kilimanjaro. This is everything that you need to learn and experience before Kilimanjaro. You will be climbing to 5000 m, over 4 days, around 5-6 hours per day. This is a test of your endurance, the same as you will have to do on Kilimanjaro. So, if you can do it on Kenya, you can do Kilimanjaro. The summit is a lot of fun, less painful than Kilimanjaro, not as crowded with a lot less pressure.
