A Curated Rainforest & Private Island Journey

Island and Mantadia Resort are both private Lemur Reserves with the only lemurs on the planet living here.

Madagascar is truly a once in a lifetime destination.

It is an entirely different ecosystem — rare, surreal, and found nowhere else on Earth.

This 6-day curated journey takes you deep into the rainforest of Andasibe and onto Palmarium Island — a private lemur reserve where wildlife is not observed from a distance, but experienced up close.

Designed primarily for women who value meaningful travel, nature immersion, and comfort without crowds, this is one of UAE Trekkers’ most unique wilderness experiences.

We only take small groups limited to 5 plus our trek leader.

We carefully select our hotels and lodges based on the amenities offered and the exclusive access they give us to the private lemur islands surrounding them

Exclusive access. This is what we pay for. We know that trekkers can manage without a nice hotel - but we also know that you don’t travel for a full day to be told you can’t get into the sanctuary to see the special type of only lemurs found on the island, We need to see them.

Limited departures per year. 6 days we will see every species of Lemur both in the wild and in private reserves and on an isolated private island. We stay in the nicest hotels, as these also give us the exclusive access to the islands. Hike through the rainforest, kayak through the Pangoles Channel, walk down the beach, there are lemurs literally everywhere.

• Hike through Andasibe rainforest with expert local guides
