The Unique Experience
We aim to create an authentic desert experience not a thrilling dune bashing adventure! You can’t discovering ancient Bedouin traditions, or simply marveling at the starlit skies, the Liwa Desert promises an unforgettable experience unlike any other.
Our itinerary is original and gives participants the chance to enjoy the serene environment and experience walking through the dunes in the absence of any motorized vehicles. This is not a dune bashing experience! You’ll be walking through the dunes and returning to the safety and comfort of our unique facility in the middle of the desert.
Alternative Activities:
We run our Desert Trek Adventure on average of 4-5 weeks, but there are other options to book any weekend for yourself and your friends or company .
Get a group of friends together and rent the Desert Villas on your own.
Cater yourself, or request one of our Executive Chefs to cook a plated dinner and breakfast for you or a buffet dinner and breakfast.

Liwa Haven Retreat
The communal majlis is surrounded by adjacent private roooms with toilets, showers, and a spring. fed pool, outdoor kitchen and bbq area and a night time star gazing area. Sleeping outdoors is a treat under the stars!

Sunrise and Sunset Hikes
The sunset and sunrises in Liwa are the most incredible you will see in your life! We wake up whiile the stars are still out and enjoy our morning coffee while we wait for the sun to come up!

Art Lessons and Sunset Painting
Our in house expert artist will provide all of the materials you need and the instruction for you to create an incredible desert sunset or sunrise scene while watching the sunrise in the dunes! You will return home with your own creation of the memory of the weekend.

Get ready for the exciting highlight of the weekend as we start our trek in the twilight before the sun rises, and watch it peek over the dunes. We'll enjoy coffee, tea and croissants to energize us for the next 3 hour trek through the dunes before we return to the villa for a swim and breakfast.

A well deserved buffet breakfast is waiting for you the second you return but you will likely want to have a swim and shower before that. Enjoy!
