Not your Ordinary Dhow Trip

We will cruise on our yacht from Khasab all the way up to Kumzar the northernmost tip of the Mussandam Peninsula, where no 'regular dhow’ can reach in a day. \

Getting There

You can drive your own car to the border and we will board a bus over the border together so no need to worry about a mortgage or a rented car.

We can take a maximum of 20 people for the weekend with plenty of space.

Itinerary:

Arrive on Saturday Morning:

Drive to Khasab - be at the border by 7:00 am. Cross into Oman together so we all reach at the same time to board the boat in time for sunset and dinner on the boat. We will not drive anywhere today, but we will have a relaxing start in the morning and set off as soon as the Coast Guard gives us the green light, usually by 7:30 am.

Boat will leave the port at 7:30 am! We will skip the standard stop of Telegraph Island and head to a more private fjord for our first dolphin spotting, snorkeling and kayaking experience. Then we start heading up to Kumzar which will take around 3 hours. Then we start our hike through the canyon and return to the boat in time for sunset, and our seafood bbq on the beach before we sleep either under the stars, on the deck or under the boat in the beds with AC.

Sunday: Wake up, breakfast and snorkel, kayak, and swim until 10:00 when we start to head back, stopping along the way in another private fjord for a swim/snorkel stop. We will have 2 stops along the way before we arrive to port by 3:00 pm.

Charges: 1800 Dh

500dh Refundable deposit to sign up.

Balance when the trip is confirmed with minimum of 10 people

Transportation from Oman border: 250 dh additional charge
