Come join us for the 2nd trip to this incredible island! Our trip will be active - hiking based, with zero time in the city other than one final stop for souvenirs, chocolate, vanilla, coffee and cocoa, the essentials to purchase when visiting this island. You will meet the Lemurs in more than one place along with chameleons, geckos exotic birds and other endemic species!

Our plan is created especially for us hikers so that we can explore outdoors and witness the majestic landscapes of this amazing island country. There are more endemic species of animals and plants here than even on than on Socotra island.

Short Itinerary: Madagascar: Rainforests and Lemurs

Friday, November 28, Fly to Tana, arriving by 5 pm.

• We will not stay in Anantarivo, but will start our 3 hour drive upon arrival directly to Andisibe so that we have the whole day to visit the Lemurs. We will stop for dinner along the way and check into our bungalows by 10 pm to sleep in the middle of the rainforest. Driving at night will relieve the pressure from traffic and get us there faster than driving in the morning.

  Saturday Day 2 : Alamatoroza Rainforest Hike: Lemur Tracking in The Rainforests

• 9:00 am: Head to the forest! The goal of your hike is to find as many lemurs in the wild as you can! Your guide is an expert, don’t worry, you’ll find them, you’ll hear them, and they are not afraid of humans. They won’t get really close to you but close enough for really good photos and to hear them eating and calling each other. This will take around 4-5 hours. The afternoon we will have a rest in our hotel, but the day is not yet done! our noctural walk will start at 6 pm for another 2 hours, where we will spot the animals that only come out at night!

• Sunday, Lemur Island for the morning. Afternoon: Rainforest

• Alamatrza Rainforest Longer Hike for 5 hours. We head to a

Monday Day 3: Andasibe – Analamazaotra National Park

• Activity: Mostly driving, but will have a short hike in tropical rainforest

• What you'll see: Indri indri lemurs, orchids, giant ferns, and primary rainforest trails

Tuesday Day 4: Make our wayback to Tana for late afternoon departure to Dubai

• Activity: Stop along the way for a short hike through a river and a waterfall to stretch our legs

  The day hikes are meant to be enjoyable with amazing scenery with lots of stops and short distances. The fun on the hikes is to stop when we see lemurs!
