Madagascar is huge. It is only possible to visit a few destinations on each visit, making tough choices!

This trip will be the Western Region and the Eastern Rainforest, also including domestic flights and some real off road rugged driving. This is a real hikers itinerary - we are heading to the Tsingy de Bemaraha National Park, an otherworldly landscape of razor sharp limestone pinnacles that are a hikers sanctuary. Crossing between the pinnacles is done by swinging bridges and reaching this spot alone will take an arduous car journey of 10 hours from Morondovo.

✦ Day 2 – Fly to Morondava: Morning Flight : Visit Baobab Alley at sunset for the best light.

✦ Day 3 – Kirindy & Spiny Forest

✦ Day 4 – Spiny Woodland or Andranomena Reserve

✦ Day 5 – Tsingy de Bemaraha:

✦ Day 6 – Grand Tsingy & Petit Tsingy

✦ Day 7 – Return toward Morondava

✦ Day 8 – Fly Back to Antananarivo

• Trek Difficulty: Intermediate

  The day hikes are meant to be enjoyable with amaazing scenery but it is still 7 days of hiking. As long as you are fit, you will be very comfortable.
