OMAN: Umq Bir: Extreme Canyoning

  • UAE Trekkers Ash Sharqiyah North Governorate Oman (map)

This trip is not for the newbies, the weekend warriors or the faint of heart.

This trip is for super fit adrenaline junkies who can abseil, swim, climb, and endure 12 hours of canyoning through 5 KM of deep water starting at the source of Wadi Tiwi: Umq Bir Canyon.

This trip requires driving to Oman on Friday night, making our way to Wadi Tiwi via Wadi Shabb (for a warm up and sneak preview of what we will do the next day) and then doing the canyon on Sunday, returning very late to Muscat to fly home. We will return back to Dubai on Monday morning.

Experience the adrenaline rush of sliding, abseiling and swimming down a canyon surrounded by 100m tall walls and clear blue waters. Spend the night in the mountains, all of your meals, stay and gear are included.
