Head into the backhills of Hatta on a fun, easy-paced family trek in search of donkeys, small creatures, flowers, plants, geological features, trail markers, and bits of trivia along the way. Timed to finish just before sunset, this hike blends adventure with hands-on learning, and it wraps up with a torch-lit walk back as dusk sets in.
The Experience
A relaxed, family-friendly treasure hunt guided by two enthusiastic Treasure Hunt Leaders, built around discovery, teamwork, and a little friendly competition. Teams search for clues and trivia hidden throughout the landscape as they make their way through the trail. No hiking experience needed. Suited to families with kids of all ages.
How the Day Begins
Arrive at the meeting point in Hatta by 3:45 PM. Your Treasure Hunt Leaders will brief your team and hand out gear before the hunt begins at 4:00 PM.
What's Included
Every family receives backpacks, snacks, water, and game cards to guide your team through the hunt. As the sun sets, we hand out head torches for the walk back, adding an extra layer of adventure to the evening.
About Your Guides
Your Treasure Hunt Leaders keep the whole family engaged, pointing out donkeys, small creatures, native plants, and geological features along the trail, and turning each discovery into a fun fact or trivia challenge for your team.
Family Friendly
This is a family-friendly, easy-paced trek suited to all fitness levels, including young children. Comfortable walking shoes are recommended, and the walk back takes place after dark with provided head torches.

Itinerary
3:45 PM: Arrival and meet your Treasure Hunt Leaders
4:00 PM: Treasure hunt begins through the Hatta backhills
Just before sunset: Head torches distributed for the walk back
7:00 PM: Hunt concludes, prizes awarded
Location: 1 hour 45 Minutes from Dubai, easily reachable by normal car.
Transportation is not included.
The rolling hills of Hatta are great place to get started hiking! Gentle hills, easy trails underfoot and incredible scenery!
