Overview of Ghaf Summit on Jabal Jais

Hike where the weather is cooler on the top of Jabal Jais

The hike starts up a steep hill on an excellent trail to reach the highest point in the UAE with incredible views. But there are lots of stopping points for views and chances to catch your breath.

Trail Description:

Although it is considered a beginner trail, it is quite a long and steep ascent which makes it either a great workout if you are fit, or a real challenge if you are not. Lunch is not included, but the reservation to PURO IS (that’s essential, you cannot just walk in on your own) and the bus is also included.

The hike is not really great for unfit beginner hikers, as the hill is somewhat daunting to climb for the first 45 minutes! But, if you are new to hiking. but not your. fitness routine, you will really enjoy the challenge of this hike, the incredible scenery and the whole event style of this hike! will be much cooler up here in the morning than down in the city, but an early start is still essential! After we climb the first big hill, the trail gets more gradual until the last section before the summit.
