CAMPING: Noctural visits are a critical part of every itinerary to Madagascar - we’re going to make a whole night of it listening to the whole symphony of the rainforest!

This is a different itinerary than our Lemur Lovers Itinerary.

This itinerary is hiking based. We will be doing hikes through the rainforest for 5-6 hours per day on the trails used by the researchers -not the tourists. We will not spend any time in the city touring historical sites.

Our plan is created especially for us hikers so that we can explore outdoors and witness the majestic landscapes of this amazing island country.

From the rainforests to the mountains we will see a variety of animals, plants and scenery unlike anything else on earth. There are more endemic species of animals and plants here than even on than on Socotra island.

• Saturday, Day. 1: Arrive to Anantarivo- overnight in Tana

• Sunday Day 2: Andisibe Private Lemur Islands Kayak Tour, Nocturnal Visit

• Monday Day 3: Rainforest Hike: Alamazatroa Rainforest Hike - Private Guided Tour

• Tuesday Day 4: Maromizaha Special Reserve - CAMPING IN THE RAINFOREST

• Wednesday Day 5: Mantadia National Park: Belakato Circuit

• Thursday Day 6: Drive back to Tana, Evening flight to Dubai

  The hikes will be rugged, challenging with steep hills and through densh bush.

  Endurance required as we trek up to 6 hours per day.
