  • UAE Trekkers https://maps.app.goo.gl/38pacbkWH1emr8jR7 Showka United Arab Emirates (map)

Showka’s Other Side: Less Crowded No Huge hills

Highlights;

A longer beginner trek of 9.5 KM without the hills! a gentle walk through the remote wadis of Showka, pass between valleys and plateaus even an ancient burial site! The path ranges from easy to follow to rocky through a wadi, so hiking boots are good.

Distance from Dubai: Just one hour from Dubai, at the Showka exit. Parking in the Modenyah Dam lot. No toilet facilities are on site so you’ll have to stop at the last Adnoc.

Overview:
The Musseili Valley trek is a long loop through the remote side of Showka (opposite the main mountain). You’ll pass ruins, camel farms, and narrow wadis on a mostly flat 10 km route. Expect 4 hours of walking, but at a faster pace than beginner treks. Great for building endurance, this is a full 4 hours! Totally remote and uncrowded trail, with camels along the way!

Trail Description: Mostly flat terrain, with a few rocky wadi sections. If daylight runs out, we’ll divert via a dirt road for safety.

What’s Included:
Backpack, water, juice, snack.

Meeting Point / Access: Transport available for additional charge.
No 4×4 required—regular cars can reach the meeting point.
