Summer Sunrise Hike - Ghail Dam- Morning Breeze and Sunrise over the Seas
Sunrise is the only time to go in the summer, finish the hike by 7:30 am
Sunrise Safety Window Hike- Ghail Dam 8.0 KM 2.5 HOurs
Short Description: A guided hike to the summit of Ghail Dam starting just before the sun rises, with the goal of reaching the best viewing point in time to see it rise over the sea. If you have been inside for the last few months, a slow start is essential to acclimate to the heat again.
Timing:
5:15 AM arrival and start the hike
7:45 AM Finish hike - hard end time.

Long Description:
The only safe window for hiking in the summer months is pre sunrise until shortly after, even then, depending on the humidity levels. Usually, the pre sunrise timings are comfortable enough for most people to handle well, but only in this very small window.
The Experience:
Ghail Dam is an amazing trail with well groomed tracks and a solid uphill for the first 40 minutes for excellent training. We can push that start time a bit, because the end of the hike is downhill.
How the Day Begins:
Arrive at the meeting point by 5:00 AM.
Your guide will brief the group before the hike begins.

This hike is suited to adults with a reasonable level of fitness. Comfortable hiking shoes are recommended, along with sun protection.
