Pre Season: Sunrise Safety Window Hike
Short Description: A guided hike to the summit of Showka starting just before the sun rises, with the goal of reaching the best viewing point in time to see it rise over the mountains. If you have been inside for the last few months, a slow start is essential to acclimate to the heat again.
Timing:
5:00 AM arrival and start the hike
7:30 AM Finish hike - hard end time. The hike must be completed by this time.

Long Description:
The only safe window for hiking in the summer months is pre sunrise until shortly after, even then, depending on the humidity levels. Usually, the pre sunrise timings are comfortable enough for most people to handle well, but only in this very small window.
The Experience:
A guided hike up to a scenic sunrise point over the hills - either staying high or coming down to the wadi and turning back for a full 7.5 KM route.
How the Day Begins:
Arrive at the meeting point at Showka by 5:00 AM.
Your guide will brief the group before the hike begins.
