This 8.5km beginner-friendly sunrise hike winds around the mountains of Fujairah on a great trail that runs through a wadi full of cairns built as artwork, before leading you to the ancient petroglyphs etched into the rock. Timed to catch the sunrise, this is an easier, more accessible route than Ain Sheria's other trek variations, built for hikers who are newer to the trail or want a gentler start to their morning.
There's no steep test of endurance here. The challenge is simply getting up before the sun, and the reward is walking through a wadi lined with hand-built cairns and mountain terrain in the cool early light, arriving at the petroglyphs with the kind of quiet you only get before the rest of the world wakes up.

From there, the route leads to ancient petroglyphs carved into the rock, a glimpse into who walked these mountains long before any of us. How the Day Begins:
Meet time at 5:30 on the tarmac road. Join off road worthy cars for the last 30 minutes of the journey.
