Mid Week Escape to Showka just an hour from Dubai!
Sunrise is the only time to go in the summer, finish the hike by 7:30 am
A guided hike to the summit of Showka starting just before the sun rises, with the goal of reaching the best viewing point in time to see it rise over the mountains. If you have been inside for the last few months, a slow start is essential to acclimate to the heat again.
Timing:
6:00 AM arrival and start the hike
9:00 AM Finish hike
The Experience:
A guided hike up to a scenic sunrise point over the hills - either staying high or coming down to the wadi and turning back for a full 7.5 KM route.

Backpack with water and electrolytes

Who can join:
This hike is suited to adults with a reasonable level of fitness. Comfortable hiking shoes are recommended, along with sun protection.
